Beauty is the qualities one can see in an object or a person but my main focus is on the beauty of a person. Beauty can not only be seen on the looks of somebody but their character can also describe their beauty which is why we have inner beauty and outer beauty.
- Inner beauty refers to the personality of a person including
- his/her mind and character. Whereas outer beauty simply refers to the looks of a person. It can easily be faked and changed through makeup, dressing, surgery etc. But it takes a whole lot of effort and a true heart to maintain your inner beauty in this modern age.
- Beauty is not about what brand of clothes you wear; it’s about how you carry them. Beauty isn’t about the matching earrings or expensive bracelets, it is always about carrying the smile and a whole lot of confidence on your face.
- Outer Beauty makes a person insecure and uncertain but inner beauty makes a person strong and makes him/her feel invincible. Beauty is about simplicity, elegance and grace. We need to be comfortable in our own skin.
- Outer beauty is transient, it fades with time and so does the looks but your soul, knowledge and heart is something that will stay.
In recent years/ this days i feel like people are more focused on their outer beauty forgetting about the importance of a good character. Well! looking all dressed, dolled up and good looking does not describe the real you which is why friendships and relationships don't last because we get attracted to the outer beauty of a person before getting to know the important part of their beauty (character). Well! we all have different takes on this so i would like to hear how you guys describe beauty and how well you understand beauty in your perspective.

I have been in instances where one falls in love with a person's physique and not their character. This usually leads to heartache for the person who was really and genuinely invested in the relationship.
ReplyDeleteI think it's always best to learn of a person's character and that should be the core of the relationship and yes, sometimes looks do work for a person to be drawn to another.
Physical beauty is great but inner beauty is always wonderful ❤

Inner Beauty might be the true description or character of us but on the other hand I have to say it still needs the comprehension of the physical appearance or outer Beauty as one can say. In the dating department people normally say "think for the children too", this means one could be an angel sort of a person from the inside and have not so good outer Beauty- for me one must be attractive from the outside as well as the inside.

ReplyDeleteThe old sayings "Beauty is only skin deep" and "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" come to mind. For me I would have to say character as that is far more important than what a person looks like. I prefer a character. Sometimes you look on somebody and he/she doesn’t have a beautiful face. Then this person started to talk and everything change. This person is a very interesting, educated and you don’t think how she/ he looks like. Sometimes people with a beautiful face don’t have anything, only their face. They are boring, dull and “empty inside them”. Definitely a character at the first for me! Outer beauty is what attracts us first, but we all know, that eventually as we all age, the outer beauty changes or fades, so if we aren't in love with who the person really is on the inside, it will never turn into a lifelong relationship
ReplyDeleteI think men focus on Beauty as their preference because, even Women like to bring us men down and throw our self esteem outside the window, when they tell us that they don't like short guys😞😞
ReplyDeleteIn bygone days, people put much emphasis on inner beauty. They perfected their moral values and personalities. Nowadays we see a dramatic change in attitude. Superficial beauty is taking of inner beauty.
